Restoring your Health at Chamberlain Chiropractic and Wellness
At Chamberlain Chiropractic and Wellness we help restore and maintain your health and wellness by working to remove the cause of your problem. This is effectively done through a very specific three phase process.
Phase 1: Evaluation and Your Plan of Action
Congratulations. You’ve committed yourself to making a difference in your health. We’re here as a team to help you every step of the way.
Our first step is to take you through a comprehensive initial visit process, complete with thorough testing to fully understand your problems, and listen to your explanation of how you feel so we can treat you according to your individual personal needs. Then we will create a plan to help you realize pain relief and begin regaining your health.
It’s unique to each person! We’ll sit down with you to discuss our findings and your specific plan of action.
At your next visit (after reviewing x-rays to make sure you’re a candidate for chiropractic care), you’ll get your first Chiropractic Adjustment – which will remove subluxations so your body begin functioning naturally again.
Phase 2: Implementing Your Specific Care Plan
Time, Frequency, and Intensity of Your Spinal Correction
Once we have determined that we can, in fact, help you a very specific plan will be developed to restore your optimal function and health.
First, you will receive frequent specific and gentle chiropractic adjustments for the purpose of un-training or breaking the destructive musculo-skeletal patterns that are at the root cause of obstructing your nervous system ( from which all function and healing flows)… as well as reducing or eliminating the cause of your pain.
Then, through frequent progress exams we will be able to determine when these destructive patterns have been eradicated. Now the real work begins. In this phase of care your frequency and intensity of specific and gentle chiropractic adjustments will reduce down while your health habits that you have now learned will ramp up. The purpose of this phase is to restore your protective spinal structure so that your nervous system is protected and flowing free of interference… as well as giving you the tools to take better care of your spine and nervous system for life!
This is the foundation of your care plan and is the precursor of the other adjunctive services we use to speed your healing.
Deep Tissue Class IV Laser Therapy
This is a safe and comfortable treatment where warm laser light penetrates deeply into the muscle tissues to relieve pain, promote healthy bloodflow, and speed the healing process.
Manual therapy, or manipulative therapy, is a physical treatment primarily used by Physical Therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, chiropractors, athletic trainers, osteopaths, and osteopathic physicians to treat musculoskeletal pain and disability; it most commonly includes kneading and manipulation of muscles, joint mobilization and joint manipulation.
The “Low Tech” rehabilitation that we have in our office doesn’t use any machine to improve flexibilities and comfort. We believe that the tools we treat you via “Low Tech” rehab should be tools that are easy and can be used anywhere at anytime. This way there are minimal excuses for not doing your exercises that will continue to improve your health for a lifetime… And maximize their ability to be effective and (hopefully) become a habit for life.
Expert Nutritional Coaching
Did you know that much of the spinal pain or other inflammation in your body (that causes pain) can be reduced or eliminated by simple changes to your diet? Dr. Jeff Chamberlain also has a degree in biochemistry and has a certification as a Health and Wellness coach from Villanova University. Dr. Jeff’s background and devotion are staying on the cutting edge. Nutrition gives his patients an added edge in their ability to get better, and stay better.
We adapt to your needs, making sure that you are comfortable, relaxed, and confident… So that your actions toward your health are deliberate and swift.
Phase 3: Maintain and Thrive… For Life!
Your subsequent appointments are quick ( or time efficient) and generally take about 10–15 minutes. On a typical visit during the course of your care, you will always be greeted warmly by our incredible team. They are always available to make your experience enjoyable and successful. Every part of the care in our office contributes to the process designed to restore your health and wellness. So while you will likely have more frequent visits in the beginning of your care you will be seeing progress with each step along the way!
Most people are amazed and love the way they feel under our style of chiropractic care and want to prevent future pain or injury, so they choose to see us for regular wellness care once their problem has been corrected and rebalanced. It’s just like seeing the dentist periodically to make sure your teeth are in good health.
