Not necessarily. The three most common causes are physical traumas, emotional stress or chemical toxins. Physical trauma causing neck vertebra to misalign, which creates pressure on nerves andreactionary muscle tension. Emotional Stress creates rigidity and muscle tension. Last Chemical toxicity and imbalances can also cause headaches. Chemical toxicity can come from everything to pharmaceutical use to sugar and soda consumption. - What causes subluxation
There are three basic causes of subluxations. Physical causes could include slips and falls, accidents, repetitive motions, and improper lifting. Emotions, such as stress, anger and fear can be the cause of subluxations. Chemical causes could include alcohol, drugs, preservatives, pollution and poor diet.
